Second, unlike other available processes, divorce mediation is transparent in the sense that the couple is aware of the activities of the mediator and any other professionals that are involved in the process. For example, if a mediator is communicating with the clients’ attorneys, the clients can be fully aware of the conversation and the substance of the conversation.
